Liz, you were a wonderful person. You had such a kind and bubbly spirit. Whenever you were near, you brought so much positivity, fun, energy and mischief. I remember so many visits with John, Amy, Chrissy and Sean. They were always great fun. When Bernie died, you were the best person to talk to. You knew Bernie so well and loved her so much, it was like a piece of Bernie was still alive in you. I will miss that. You also knew so much about loss and grief, and especially how to keep going and keep being positive, even when that felt impossible. Thank you so much for the interest you took in Alíona and Claudia over the past few years. You were a great person to talk to about parenting, you gave great advice. I wish you had had more time. It's not fair. But I think you made the most of the time that you had. I think you lived your life right. I hope you have peace and rest.
Love always Andy, Brianán, Alíona and Claudia

We are extremely saddened by the news of Elizabeth's passing. Elizabeth loved to have big parties for the whole family, including the extended family, neighbors, and friends. Her amazingly prepared foods brought three generations of the family under the same roof. She will be dearly missed. We pray for peace and patience for all her family members that she left behind.

We are mourning the loss of a great wife, mother, and a caring friend. I have known Elizabeth since 2011. In these past 13 years, we build many great memories. Elizabeth was always there making life better for us, irrespective of the circumstance. In good times, Elizabeth was the life of the party, and if she was hosting, she made sure every one was having a great time. I can never forget her unmatched Thanksgiving turkeys and spaghetti dinners. In hard times, she was great at consoling everyone, and she always had wise practical advice that worked. We will truly miss her and will feel her empty spot in our hearts.

Sincere sympathy to John, Amy, Chrissy and family on Elizabeth’s passing. I lived “just across the fields” from her in Ireland until she emigrated to the USA in the early 1960s. She was a most helpful, pleasant and cheerful lady and I was delighted to meet her again during her occasional visits to Ireland. I also had the pleasure of spending some time with Amy and her husband (Including a visit to the original O’ Connell family home) when they visited Ireland some years ago. May Elizabeth’s gentle soul rest in peace. John Clohessy

Liz was always so much fun to be with. Wise and generous, open minded and fair. She took everyone at face value and treated everyone with respect and decency. When we visited her and John in 2016, they brought us on a tour of Nashville and Memphis. We had great fun in the casinos. They gave us their time and made it a special trip for us. Liz was a beautiful soul who has been taken way too soon. My heart goes out to John, Amy, Chrissy and her extended family. Photos from our trip and with her sister Coco, RIP. In Lahinch in 2019. Rest in heavenly peace dear Liz. Caroline (Dublin)

My Nana was a truly amazing women, she has shaped my life and countless others in the most positive way. She taught me so many valuable life lessons. One quote I’ll always remember from her is to, “let the chips fall where they fall”. I know she is watching over all of us in heaven as she was truly an angel. Sending lots of love and hugs to you Nana.
