Obituary of Dorothy "Dee" Tucci

Dorothy “Dee” Tucci, age 85, of Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday April 7, 2024. Dee, as she was known by her many friends, was a long-time resident of the Heritage Isle community of Viera. She worked for many years as a flight attendant for TWA and traveled the world over. She was married to Bernard Tucci in 1981 and they spent 26 wonderful years together enjoying life and continuing to travel, until his death in 2007.

Dee was loving and kind and she made friends wherever she went. She was especially popular at Panera where she met with her breakfast friends every morning, and loved to be taken care of by the Panera employees who adored her. Lunch at the club, playing mahjong, Sunday Happy Hours and walks with her longtime companion Muggs were some of her favorite ways to spend time. Dee will be greatly missed by friends and family, especially cousin Shelly Nikodem.

Calling hours will be Monday April 22, 2024 at 10:00-11:30 at the Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, Viera, Florida. A service will follow at 11:30. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Haven for Children, Inc., Melbourne, Florida or a charity of your choice.
