Obituary of Michael Patrick LaRocque

Michael (Mike) Patrick LaRocque, 52, of Merritt Island --a devoted father, loving son, brother, cherished friend to many, business owner and avid boater and fisherman -- passed away on April 16th, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends.  He is survived by his 5 children, Sophia LaRocque, Emily LaRocque, Olivia LaRocque, Kage Walker and Paetynn Bancroft; by the mother of his children, Stacey LaRocque; by his sister and her husband, Regina LaRocque and Jason Harris; by his nephews, Ben Harris and Noah Harris; and by his parents, James LaRocque and Penelope LaRocque. His grandparents were William Osten (W.O.) and Viola (Honey) Pepple of Cocoa, Florida and Leonard and Charlotte LaRocque of Tupper Lake, New York.

A memorial service and gathering in Mike's memory will be held on Sunday April 28, 2024 from 2:00PM- 4:00PM at Beckman Williamson Funeral Home 5400 Village Dr Viera, FL 32955. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marine Resources Council.
