Richard Alfred Bargelski, age 59, of Melbourne FL., left us surrounded by family and loved ones on October 27th, 2021 after a long battle and complication from cancer.
Richard was born on December 18th, 1961 to Harry and Darlene Bargelski in Wilmington, DE. After graduating from Delcastle High School in 1978 as a machinist, Rich later received an Associate degree in mechanical engineering. He landed his first job as a machinist for Dupont, kicking off a 43-year career in mechanical engineering and design. Rich enjoyed his job and at the time of passing he was a Level Four Engineer at Harris Corp, having served more than 20 years, and in the latter part of his career, traveled abroad to other countries.
Left behind are his three lovely children, Justin, Brooke and Austin.
Rich attended Catholic Church regularly and was a Master Mason with Harbor City Lodge 318 in Melbourne, Rich spent his time outside of work with his family and friends. Rich’s hobbies included fishing, boating, scuba diving, refurbishing motorcycles, riding motorcycles, working out and DIY projects around his house.
Richard is predeceased by his father Harry Bargelski Sr. He is survived by his mother, Darlene (Mimm); sister, Claudette; his brothers Harry Jr, Patrick, Robert (Felice) and Daniel (Karen); his nieces/nephews, Elise, Angelina, Sean, Joseph, Maggie Rose, Nicholas, Scott, Sidney; great nieces, Ariana and Sadie Grace; his two granddaughters Paiten and Riley; aunts/uncles, Kathleen and Buddy, Phyllis and Dickie.
