Carl E. Cheeseman, age 85 of Cocoa Beach Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021. He was born in Munhall Pennsylvania to Cyril and Elizabeth Cheeseman.  Carl was a graduate of Munhall High School.  He began his employment career at McCrorys then Wonder Bread, Tru House of Munch, Busch Industrial Product Corporation, and Fleischmann Yeast. He retired at age 65 after 42 years of service.  He actively served on the board of Directors of the Ohio Bakers Association. He was also a member of the Canton Bakers Club and the Ohio Bakers Club.  He was a member of Our Saviour’s Catholic Church. Carl was a skilled golfer, loved electric trains, Steelers and devoted to Scouting. In his time in Scouting, he oversaw the awarding of over 400 Eagle Scouts.  Carl was elected to the Order of the Arrow in 1973 and he was also a Brotherhood member. In his many years of service, Carl was awarded the Scouter's Key in 1973, the training award in 1974 and the District Award of Merit in the same year. He was a Silver Beaver recipient. Carl was elected Director of the Rock Pointe Board in Cocoa Beach Florida in May 2005 and became Vice President in 2006.  He served as Board President for eight years from 2009 to 2017. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, and son Greg. Survivors include his loving wife Dorothy of 65 years, brother Jerry, daughters Susan, Debbie and Leslie; Grandkids Jamie, Phillip, Alexander, and Jeremy; Great Grandkids Greyson, Eli, Ella and Emerson. The Service will be at Our Saviour’s Catholic Church, 1:00, Friday, February 5, 2021. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes can be donated to The American Lung Association and BSA Scouting.
