We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Viera/Rockledge
It is with deep sorrow and much love that I announce the passing of my dear and loving husband Allan James Trucano on Sunday, July 31st, 2022, at the St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care Center in Melbourne, Florida.
Allan, the son of the late Natale and Emma (Bulgarelli) Trucano, is survived by his devoted wife Linda; his two sisters, Natalie Sparrer and Mary Ham (Jerry) of California; his daughters, Suzanne Lomasney (Rich) of Illinois, Kathryn of Montana, Deanna (Glaston) of Texas; his son Jim (Michelle) of Iowa; and his stepchildren, Lynn Park (Ben) and Scott Archer (Kelley) of California. Allan is also survived by nine grandchildren, two step-grandsons, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Allan graduated from Iowa State University and retired as a communications engineer from ABB Power T&D. Until his advanced illness, he was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where he was also a member of the Chorale.
Allen's hobbies were photography and politics. He was the family photographer as well as the go-to photographer, by request of friends, for weddings, birthdays, and special events. He was a photographer for the choir and for special occasions at St. John the Evangelist.
Allan was the founder and served as the first president of the Republican Club at Heritage Isle. He served on BREC (Brevard Republican Executive Committee) and as Precinct Committeeman for Heritage Isle District 429.
Allan was a loyal and active 3rd-degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6125, Rockledge, FL. He was honored to serve our community with his fellow Knights.
Services will be held at St. John the Evangelist on Tuesday, August 23rd, at 11:00 AM with Beckman~Williamson Funeral Home in charge.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make a memorial donation to the Knights of Columbus Council 6125 or to the St. John the Evangelist Grotto Fund.
