Sarah B. Ribble, 88, passed away, at home, peacefully in her sleep on May 17, 2018.
Sarah was born on November 22, 1929 in Buckingham County, Virginia. The daughter of the late Dow and Mabel (Jones) Baughan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Ribble, and infant son, William Henry. She is survived by her children Ray Ribble (Johnda), Anne Lynch (Jim), Robert Ribble (Amy) and Ginger Ribble; Grandchildren Mallory Williams (Justin), Galen Ribble (Josefina), Logan Ribble and Abby Ribble; Great Grandchildren Easton, Sammy, Aidan, Liam and Owen.
Sarah was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She began her career in nursing. She married and changed her career to become a loving mother and homemaker. She moved to Cocoa Beach following her husband's NASA career. In their early years, she and her husband enjoyed the Cocoa Beach nightlife. Sarah had fond memories of dancing with Astronauts. She enjoyed bringing out hysterical laughter in her children. Later in life she became known as Mammaw to her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
A graveside service will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens on May 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
