June Marie Paule of Merritt Island died on Monday, October 22, 2018. June was born June 28, 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri to Herbert and Hazel Koeller. June married her high school sweetheart at age 19, in 1948, and later divorced, after having four children. She met and married Carl Paule in 1955. She and Carl had four more children, raising them in St. Charles, Missouri, until 1969, when they moved the family to Cocoa Beach, Florida.
June is survived by her dear children, of which there are eight. Suzette (Buddy) Smith of Merritt Island, FL; Christina (Collin) Canright of Chicago, IL; Jack (Joan) and Michael (Nan) of Clermont, FL; Gary (Kristin) of Cocoa Beach, FL; Carl (Chris) of Orlando, FL; Kevin (Lori) of Port St John, FL; and Shawn of Cocoa Beach, FL; and 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents and her dear brother, Herbert "Bud" Koeller. Throughout her life, June was highly involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s activities, creating a warm home that was always open to friends of family. She was a cancer survivor, and a strong supporter of political causes. She was also known for her love of animals, and her singing voice, as she often was asked to sing with bands at cabarets and night clubs around Cocoa Beach.
A viewing will begin at 10 a.m. and a memorial service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, at Beckman Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Drive, Viera, Florida, 32940. Flowers can be sent to that address.
