Charles Lee Williams passed away peacefully on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Viera Hospital.
Charles was born on August 31, 1938 in Pompano Beach, FL to Elmira Williams Fulton and Hughes Lee. He was reared by his loving grandparents; Thomas and Jessie Parrish Williams.
He graduated from Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, FL and attended Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, FL for two years before enlisting in the United States Army. When he completed his military service, as a medic in Germany, he moved to Indianapolis, IN where he later met and married Anita Cunningham on August 20, 1966.
He graduated from Indiana University with degrees in Business and Economics.
Charles retired from Allstate Insurance Company in January 2000 and relocated to Viera, FL for the warm climate.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of almost 52 years, Anita, and their children Carla Williams and Kevin (Julia) Williams; Grandsons, Jordan Quarels, Davon Williams; Step-grandson, Erick Dietz all from Indianapolis, IN; Sister, Norma Osborne of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Brothers, Mack Harper (Nina) of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Harold Harper (Gloria) of Sunrise, FL, Alvin Fulton of New York, Alphonso Fulton (Toni) of Houston, TX, Stevie Fulton of Orlando, FL, a loyal and loving Mother- in- Law, Virginia Cunningham and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
