My sweet sister! I love you more than I can express. You are an angel for sure now. I always thought so anyway. I still can't wrap my mind around what life will be like knowing you are gone. I weep, but at the same time I rejoice that you will no longer be confined and suffering by your body. You are free. I will continue to miss you and think of you daily, as I always have. You will always remain a part of my heart. You have always been one of my greatest blessings & I feel very thankful to have had a sister like you here with me all this time. Always know I love you & we will be together again! I know there are many people to greet and love you there also, so you are in great hands & you are free!

Brenda & I first met Ann in 2010 in Helen, Georgia at a high school reunion for classmates from Augsburg, Germany where her husband, Jim, attended in 1964.. We then met with both Jim and Ann every year thereafter for a reunion from 2010 until our last meeting in St. Augustine in 2016. From the beginning, Ann was experiencing multiple health and medical issues. Despite that fact, Ann was always willing to travel and to participate despite her ongoing heath and medical conditions. Ann was a true Apache, our Augsburg symbol,.
Ann was a true spirit and endured overwhelming challenges. Yet, despite such fact, she fought the good fight; stayed the course and kept the faith. And Jim remand totally and fully
dedicated to Ann's needs. A truer love does not exist than that as shown by Jim in providing such long term care and devotion to Ann. She will be sorely missed and it was our honor and our privilege to have shared her life.

We have had the opportunity to call this wonderful lady our friend since 2010 when a bunch of now old guys that were high school friends in Germany decided to get together & bring their wives along. We were instant friends & shared many happy times together. All during that time Ann suffered greatly with the horrible disease that finally took her life. Most of the time you would never know how sick she was. She told me many times how precious Jim was to her & how he cared for her during her illness. Theirs was a true & perfect love. Our hearts break for Jim & she will be greatly missed by all that ever had the privilege to know Ann. Rest now, sweet one & fly with the angels, because you truly are one now!
