Anthony Patrick Franza, born on October 6, 1931 in Staten Island, New York, to the late Janette Perosi Franza and the late Vincent James Franza, passed away at age 86 on May 17, 2018 in Melbourne, Florida.
He is a graduate of Wagner College and the University of Rochester, Adjunct Facility at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and Professional Engineer. Anthony served as Captain in the Air Force within Strategic Air Command during the Korean War. He worked as a Principal System Engineer at Eastman Kodak until he retired in 1991.
Anthony was the loving husband of Anne Kennedy Franza. He is survived by his sons, James Kennedy Franza & Jean Mottola Franza and Gordon Scot Franza & Catherine Fox Franza; sister, Rose Franza Derosa. Anthony was a proud grandfather to Anthony James Franza, Kaitlyn Marie Franza, Patrick Scot Franza, and Kelli Anne Franza. Tony enjoyed playing Bridge & Black Jack, golf, tennis, softball, and bowling.
