September 27, 1926-October 31, 2017
Marge was born in Scottsville, NY, and lived in Rochester, NY until 1975 when she moved to, and fell in love with, Brevard County. She was known to many as “My Friend Marge”; a title affectionately bestowed by her husband Vince. Marge was everybody’s friend, loved for her kindness, generosity, quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. This former elementary school teacher and Weight Watchers Counselor dedicated herself to many ministries at Church of Our Saviour, was an avid tennis player, and her beautiful calligraphy adorned many art signs, certificates, and personalized stationary for her friends and family. Marge’s children will forever remember her as a loving mother and guide. She was indeed a special lady.
Marge joins in spirit her friend and husband of 51 years, Vince Spezzano, and her youngest daughter, Christine Spezzano. She leaves three grieving children and spouses, Stephen Spezzano, Judith (Mary Nau) Barnum, Mark (Susan) Spezzano. Marge was blessed with five grandchildren: Stacy Waite, Nikki Chambley, Courtney Spezzano, Kevin Barnum, Blake Spezzano and five great-grandchildren: Sean Spezzano, Anastasia Waite, Ethan and Emery Chambley, and Jude Spezzano. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on November 18 at 10:30 am at Church of Our Saviour, 5301 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL.
