She enjoyed reading, exercising to fitness tapes and taking in magnificent ocean views with her family. She would often be seen riding her bike and walking with her daughters around the neighborhood. Watching the Rachal Ray food program on TV, having a cup of Starbucks coffee and preparing meals for her family were her greatest passions. She often had her youngest daughter Janna standing on a stool, helping in preparing meals. Further, she loved reading novels and her mother’s bible handed down to her. She authored a book titled “how I Lost a Person”, that chronicled her weight loss efforts, resulting in her loss of 120 pounds.
