Gerald Jagrowski, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at home in Melbourne.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara, and their children Nancy and her husband Pat, grandchildren Sean and Conor, Colorado Springs, CO; Diane, Aurora, CO; Jerry and his wife Laura, grandchildren Rachel and Sarah, Wheaton, IL; and Bill and his wife Paula, grandchildren Alex and his wife Elizabeth, Liam, Jocelyn, Aidan, and Kellen, Roswell, GA.  He is also survived by his sister Judy and her husband Don, Milford, MI.  He was predeceased by his parents Leon and Genevieve of Farmington Hills, MI. 

He was a retired US Air Force Colonel of 30 years, a well-regarded employee of Harris Corporation in Melbourne, an active volunteer with the Brevard County Parks & Recreation and Planning & Zoning committees, and the Suntree Rotary Club.  He was also a long time member of Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, June 23, 2017.  Interment will be in West Point Cemetery, West Point, NY at a later date.  Friends are invited to call at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Drive, Viera on Thursday, June 22 from 5 to 7pm.  Contributions in his memory may be made to your local YMCA.
